CSCL polymer flow scheme will be simplified.

CSCL obliges testing of polymers for new chemical notification. The test scheme is called “Polymer Flow Scheme” and the scheme includes three types of tests namely stability test, solubility test and measurement of molecular distribution. Test conditions of each test are defined by the “notice on available knowledge.”

Ministries have been accumulated test results under the new chemical notification scheme and decided to rational the test scheme by reducing test conditions for stability test and solubility test because some of test conditions provides predictable test results by other test conditions. Public comment was done, new notice will be published in February, 2018 and will be implemented in April 1st, 2017.

PLC criteria will also be amended accordingly.
