This is Takayuki Ino, a Japanese Science Fiction writer. I have won The Nihon SF Shinjin Sho (Japan Science Fiction new writer competition, Awarded by Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of Japan) in 2009 and the awarded novel was published in 2010. The novel is titled "Diving Oparlia, A Forest Planet".

The novel is about a crisis of a colonized planet called Oparlia. The planet is separated into two parts by thousands meter high cliffs. One is the thick forest called "Lowlands" the other is habitable "Highlands" which spotted in Lowlands like islands in the sea.

When an outbreak of a new disease occurred, an ecology scientist in other habitable planet was invited by the InterStellar Council Organization to investigate the disease because of her past research project on Oparlia.

I studied chemistry in the Tokyo Science University and worked as a government official of Japan, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and resigned in 2017.

I am now living in Hua Hin, Thailand with my wife and two cats.
